A2 is a scratch that has gone past the clear coat into the colour. Polishing will soften it and will not remove it, so honest repair means paint on that panel.
Body shops in the United States do not paint half a panel on a metallic car. They paint the panel and blend into the two next to it, which is why a single A2 costs more than most owners expect.
If the sheet shows A2 marks on three adjoining panels, price one paint job across all three rather than three separate ones. That is usually cheaper, and it is what a shop will quote you.
What it should do to your bid
Take the repair figure off your bid if you intend to fix it. If you do not, remember the next buyer will.
