JZA80

Toyota Supra, A80

2JZ-GTE, 3.0 twin-turbo, rear-wheel drive

Nine years of production, May 1993 to August 2002, which means half the run has been legal in the United States for years and the last cars are still clearing.

Supra prices have made the sheet matter more here than on any other Toyota. Modified cars, replaced panels and unconfirmed odometers are all common, and all of them are readable before you bid.

01What to read first on a JZA80 sheet

Turbo against naturally aspirated

The sheet identifies the engine. A non-turbo JZA80 is a different car at a different price, and photographs do not always make it obvious.

Six-speed manual or automatic

Written on the sheet as F6 or FAT among the equipment abbreviations. It is the single largest value line on a Supra after condition.

Grade 1 for modification

A heavily modified Supra is often graded 1 with a clean diagram. Read the notes: 社外 items and an unconfirmed odometer travel together.

Targa roof seals and roof rust

The removable roof panel leaks with age, and the water goes into the rear floor. An S or C mark on the floor of the diagram is worth more attention than the same mark on a wing.

Every mark named above is defined in the codes library, with what it costs to put right at US rates.

Be told when a JZA80 matters

We write when the JZA80 clears another month of the 25-year rule, when the yen moves more than 3% your way, and once when the free Decode opens. Nothing else.
